What single origin means here
Single origin means the coffee comes from Honduras rather than being assembled from beans grown across several countries. It gives the cup a clearer geographical identity and makes it easier to understand where its flavour begins.
Single origin does not automatically mean one farm or one tiny plot. A coffee can still be single origin when beans are brought together from producers within the same country or defined region. The accurate claim for Luxe is single origin Honduran coffee.

What organic decaf coffee actually means
Organic certification concerns how coffee is produced, handled and verified. It should be treated as a specific certification claim, not a vague synonym for healthy, pure or morally superior.
Organic also does not tell you how good the coffee will taste. Flavour still depends on the quality of the green coffee, the decaffeination process, roasting, freshness, grind and brewing. How the Swiss Water Process protects origin character
Swiss Water describes its process as using water, temperature and time. Green coffee is prepared and hydrated before caffeine migrates from the bean into Green Coffee Extract. Carbon filters capture the caffeine and the extract is renewed for the next cycle.
Swiss Water states that its process preserves the coffee’s origin characteristics and allows existing certifications, including organic certification where applicable, to remain intact.
Swiss Water processed green coffee is described as 99.9% caffeine-free. Decaf still contains a small residual amount of caffeine, so the careful wording is decaffeinated or 99.9% caffeine-free, not completely caffeine-free.

Choose beans, ground or fine ground
The correct format depends on your equipment and how much control you want over the brew.

Is organic decaf coffee better than ordinary decaf?

Is organic decaf coffee completely caffeine-free?
No. Decaffeination removes most caffeine but a small residual amount remains. Swiss Water describes its processed green coffee as 99.9% caffeine-free.
Is every Swiss Water coffee organic?
No. Swiss Water is a decaffeination method. It can preserve an existing organic certification, but the original coffee must already meet the relevant organic requirements. Luxe is sold as certified organic.
What is the difference between organic and Fairtrade coffee?
Organic and Fairtrade are separate certifications. Organic concerns production and handling standards. Fairtrade concerns recognised trading and producer standards. A coffee can hold one, both or neither.
