Ah honey, honey, let’s be honest. Most decafs taste like punishment. But this one? It tastes like your favourite guilty-pleasure love song came back from the 60s, took a gap year in Colombia and got into single-origin coffee. Grown in the misty heights of the La Serranía range by over 50 coffee magicians (aka farmers) who hand-pick, hand-sort, and probably hand-sing to each bean. We’re talking orange zest brightness. Deep muscovado richness. A cheeky kiss of marzipan. Caffeine? Gently evicted by natural process of sugarcane and mountain water so smooth it probably plays saxophone. For anyone who’s ever said “just one more cup” and ended up doing ceiling-staring maths at 2:43am. Anyone who loves to taste the vibe. Anyone who likes their decaf with a chorus.

WINNER OF THE GREAT TASTE AWARD 2024!!! Imagine if you had enough of your favourite millionaire shortbread to become the world’s first shortbread trillionaire. It would feel like priceless perfection, just like the sharp and complex medium body of this decaf coffee, the best in all history. Using the natural Mountain Water method of decaffeination, this coffee is 99.9% caffeine free. The delectable Bourbon, Caturra, Typica and Catuaí beans are grown by independent smallholders at around 1,000 metres from San Cristobal de las Casa to Tuxla Gutiérrez in Mexico. We recommend entering this kingdom of decaf decadence at first sunrise.

“We instantly liked the smooth, velvety attributes of this coffee, appreciating the robustness of the chocolatey, nutty profile, lovely mouthfeel and clean finish. An all round pleasant decaffeinated coffee. Low acidity and a great body, delicately spiced with a light, sweet caramel note and a touch of malt milk biscuit. Well roasted with no off-notes and in good balance.”

A brew from the Central American home of beautiful coffee for over 220 years, our organic, Fairtrade, chemical-free Swiss Water decaf method coffee grown at high altitude among the rain forests of Honduras is not rich so much as it is luxe, stuffed with praline chocolate notes. This is a serious brew for coffee aficionados, which is why Hondurans keep 90% of their coffee to themselves and export the rest with tears in their eyes. Lest we forget our brew is 99.99% free of caffeine.

A bright and sweet orange and passionfruit infusion by way of Brazil through Paraguay to northern Argentina. Named here after the Dutch national colour and fruit of the same name. Refreshing and sweet friendly smell. If it was a person, it would the partner you would be proud of bringing home to meet your parents. Probably best not to mention Amsterdam passion when you do.

Everyone knows an odd couple, two people that found each other and seem to be the happiest couple in the world, but you can’t help wondering how. Introducing our Odd Couple Lemon and Apple Tea. They had nothing in common, but we’re glad they met. The citrus tang of lemon and the soft sweetness of apple is, like the head and the heart, the horse and the cart, not so much the attraction of opposites as the balance of equals. In this way, at least, when life gives you lemons and apples, it makes a perfect pair. Here’s to the happy cuppa.

A rare find – a velvet-bodied Mexican coffee that uses Organic crystal-clear spring water from the country’s highest peak – Pico de Orizaba – to steam and then wash the beans. It’s a higher quality process than the Swiss Water Decaf Method, as it’s Organic and closer to nature. The flavoid-saturated water dissolves the caffeine but leaves the coffee aroma and the complex taste intact. And what a taste – a truly authentic-tasting decaf, that’s suitable from your first morning cup to after-dinner in polite crockery. You can almost hear the Central American coffee notes of fruits, chocolate, nuts and honey (WARNING: Don’t pour coffee in your ear).

Rooibos is Afrikaans for the ‘red bush’ it’s harvested from. The name is pronounced ‘Roy Bosch’, and Roy is from Seth Effrika, but he’s put himself about a bit. He’s got bags of character, is naturally sweet and slightly nutty but contains no caffeine and very little tannin.

You can tell yourself that chamomile flowers are full of antioxidants and can be enjoyed as a caffeine-free alternative tea with a genuine earthy, sweet taste. You can convince your friends that there is evidence for the polyphenol quercetin’s anti-oxidation properties but only because the fairies told you so.
